Service & reparation Request a quoteA Broad Energy Germanium detector (BEGe), combines the properties of a low energy detector (LEGe) and a standard coaxial detector (SEGe). The energy range is from a few keV to 3 MeV. A BEGe is a relatively flat and thin crystal with low capacitance, which greatly improves efficiency below 1 MeV. The shape of the crystal is chosen for optimal efficiency for the most common samples.
- Wide energy range combines the spectral advantages of low energy and coaxial HPGe detectors
- Efficiency and energy resolution optimized in the energy range 3 keV to 662 keV
- Plate with optimal efficiency for samples placed close to the detector
- Thin and stable entrance window
- Equipped with intelligent preamplifier with USB 2.0 for SoH
