Service & reparation Request a quoteISOCS (In Situ Object Calibration System) for HPGe (High-Purity Germanium) is a method used to calibrate HPGe detectors, which are used to measure and analyze radiation from radioactive materials. ISOCS makes it possible to create accurate calibration models without the need for physical standards, by calculating the efficiency of the detector in relation to the specific geometry, density and composition of the object to be measured. This makes the measurements both flexible and fast, which is particularly useful when analyzing irregular or large objects in radiation protection, nuclear technology and environmental monitoring.
- Software for mathematical calibration
- Immediate, accurate, nuclide-specific results
- Source free detector-specific calibrations
- Calibrations generated for any object/surface that can be approximated by plane, cylinder, box, sphere, well/Marinelli or pipe
- Mobile detector positioning incl collimators and backshields to accommodates any detector orientation
- Complex pipe template allows modeling of complex, multi-layer pipes and drums
- ISOCS Uncertainty Estimator tool (IUE) helps minimize uncertainty
