Flux

Fluxes are the sample solvents. Recent research carried out by Claisse demonstrates that the choice of flux is crucial in obtaining a quality analysis. In fact, the right flux enables you to eliminate the risk of crystallization and cracking of the glass disk, for a given type of sample.

Claisse fluxes are made of lithium borate or sodium borate, obtained through our particular fusion process, which yields a final solution of a homogeneity, purity and quality without equal. Claisse is the first company to offer and manufacture fused fluxes with integrated non-wetting agents (NWA) as an option.
