Digitizer 2730 series

The CAEN 2730 Digitizer Family is a high‑performance 14‑bit, 500 MS/s waveform digitizer series with 8, 16 or 32 channels, designed for nuclear spectroscopy and detector readout in lab and large‑scale experiments.

Each channel features software‑selectable analog gain and individual DC offset for optimal signal conditioning, with models available in desktop, VME and VME64X form factors.

The family offers embedded processing on Open‑ARM / FPGA platforms, supports ready‑to‑use and user‑custom firmware (PSD, PHA, waveform recording), and provides high‑speed readout via USB 3.0 and 1/10 GbE, multi‑board synchronization and rich software support including CoMPASS, WaveDump2, Sci‑Compiler and FELib.
