SPC 5600C Educational Gamma Kit

A gamma spectrometry product package from CAEN designed for educational use, including a scintillation detector equipped with a silicon photomultiplier (SiPM), a digitizer, a power supply and all necessary cables, tools and software. The set includes everything needed, including three different scintillation crystals; by changing these, one can study the properties of different scintillators and their effects on the measured spectrum. The system is controlled with the versatile HERA software, which also includes tools for data analysis.

The set contains the following components:

• SP5600: general-purpose two-channel power supply and amplifier.
• DT5720A: benchtop digitizer with two channels and a 12‑bit ADC converter.
• SP5606: gamma spectrometer with a built‑in silicon photomultiplier and an exchangeable scintillation crystal (either CsO, LYSO or BGO).
• A315: splitter that divides one input signal into two outputs.
• Gamma radiation absorption tool: an accessory attachable to the spectrometer, which can be used for absorption measurements
