Portable contamination monitor designed for field assembly/disassembly. Set-up time is about 10 minutes. A perfect solution for an emergency response organization. The 4 parts are packed in 3 transport boxes. The modular Argos-3 is based on 19 thin plastic detectors TPS-BG-579 (+2 optional sides of foot detectors). The personal monitor has a unique anti-coincidence detection which greatly reduces the signal in the beta channel from gamma, an important feature in high background conditions, for example after a radiological accident.
The design is also compatible with alpha/beta detectors TPS-AB-579 or beta detectors TPS-B-579. The software is the well-proven platform for personal monitors, including WebRemote and Dashboard (identical to Argos-3/-5, Sirius-5, Cronos-1/4/11 and GEM-5)
