LINSEIS LFA L52 is a powerful Laser Flash Analyzer used to accurately measure thermal diffusivity, thermal conductivity and specific heat for many different materials and applications. Suitable for solids, powders, pastes and liquids in industries such as aerospace, ceramics, metallurgy, energy storage and advanced electronics.

  • Measure 3, 6 or 18 samples at the same time
  • Thanks to modular furnace design, the LFA L52 covers the widest temperature range  –125 °C to 2800 °C.
  • Laser Flash method is an absolute measurement technique, so no calibration standards are needed.
  • Follows international standards such as ASTM E-1461 and DIN EN 821-2.

The LFA L52 can be fitted with user-changeable detectors and can also be operated under vacuum or with inert gas for optimal control of measurement conditions. A turntable option for a second furnace reduces downtime and allows smooth switching between temperature ranges. With fast, non-contact measurements, little sample preparation and very high accuracy, the LFA L52 is a leading solution for advanced thermophysical material testing.
