The LS lead castles from Techmart are compact and user-friendly, requiring only 600 x 600 mm floor space. These modular shields with parts under 150 kg each are easy to transport and install. They offer flexible cover setup without rear clearance and a reduced-mass design for effortless opening and closing. A 1.0 mm tin and 1.5 mm copper graded liner prevent interference from secondary lead x-rays. The exterior has a light grey polyurethane finish, and the interior is coated for oxidation prevention. The shield’s floor accommodates various cryostats, and it comes with an adjustable table for precise detector positioning. An optional back shield is available for detectors with a remote detector chamber (RDC).
