Exciting new product launch – iCAM GA!

We are excited about Mirion’s launch of the iCAM GA (Gross Alpha), a significant advancement of the proven iCAM monitor designed for the growing needs of the radiopharmaceutical and airborne radiological monitoring sectors.

iCAM is a continuous air monitor that measures airborne alpha and beta particulate activity using the well-known PIPS detectors. It supports either a fixed filter or a moving filter and functions as an alarming monitor for operators while delivering real-time measurements with low false alarm rates and high protection levels.

Key highlights

  • Real-time monitoring of airborne gross alpha and beta particulates with high sensitivity.
  • Wide energy-range alpha detection that includes higher-energy radon and thoron progeny for more comprehensive measurements.
  • Direct detection of medical isotopes such as Ac-225, Pb-212 and Ra-226.
  • Firmware option to disable radon compensation, improving performance in isotope-rich environments.
  • Upgradeable platform for existing iCAM units and one-month data archiving for analysis and reporting.
  • Designed to support safety and regulatory compliance in demanding environments.

iCAM combines sensitivity, reliability and advanced background compensation to meet the demands of challenging monitoring environments.
