The hand-foot clothing monitor is a contamination monitor for the radiation protection sector for detecting contamination with alpha and beta/gamma radiation. The system is activated when the footboard is stepped on and starts measuring the soles of the feet and hands. The monitor is operated via a touch panel on a graphic display. Low-maintenance thin-film scintillators made of ZnS(Ag) are used as detectors. The robust, powder-coated housing is easy to decontaminate and can be moved effortlessly thanks to the presence of wheels.
