Gammadata visits Nuclear Shields in the Netherlands

Eirik and Stefan from Gammadata recently carried out a supplier visit to Nuclear Shields at their factory in the Netherlands. The purpose of the trip was to inspect a bio safety cabinet that is being prepared for delivery to the Nordic market.

The cabinet is characterized by its high flexibility and can be tailored to the user’s specific needs, both in terms of workflow and safety level. It is designed for the modern laboratory, where demands on personal safety, product integrity and efficient radiation protection are high.

During the factory visit, Eirik and Stefan also gained insight into how the heavy industry around lead manufacturing operates. They were able to follow the process from lead ingots and stainless steel to a finished radiation shielding product with high quality, precision and surface finish. All in all – a great visit!
