X-ray instrument
A common application is to measure leakage radiation from X-ray cabinets or in connection with non-destructive testing (NDT). Under certain conditions, the X-ray radiation can be difficult to measure correctly with instruments for dose rate. This applies especially when the tube voltage of the X-ray equipment is low (less than 200 kV) or when X-rays are generated in short pulses, so-called flash X-rays.
