AccuRad – SIM Kit

The AccuRad PRD-SIM Kit is a complete training system without real radiation sources for realistic training in radiation detection and CBRN operations. The solution fully recreates the functionality of a sharp AccuRad PRD, including trend analysis, direction (directional radar), alarm levels and multi-sensory warnings, but without the need for radioactive sources. With the included RadSIM unit, the user can simulate everything from background radiation to scenarios corresponding to nuclear events. The system can also be expanded with PlumeSIM to simulate dispersion patterns such as plumes and hotspots. Together with the associated apps and software, the solution supports collaboration, real-time monitoring and analysis, the AccuRad PRD-SIM Kit enables organizations to develop operational capability, collaboration and preparedness in realistic scenarios – without the risks and limitations of handling real radiation sources.
