FASTSCAN is a whole body counter with large sodium iodide detectors and Mirion Apex-InVivo and Genie software. It can give calculation times as low as one minute. It is intended for nuclear facilities with incomplete nuclide reactors. The system is easy to use. The software starts the measurement, stores the data, displays the spectrum, performs analysis and provides a report. The FASTSCAN system includes two large sodium iodide detectors NaI(Tl) 7.6 x 12.7 x 40.6 cm with a detection limit of approximately 150 Bq for Co-60, with a one minute measurement time for a normal person.
