Service & reparation Request a quoteLB 124 Scint is a handheld instrument for measuring contamination. It detects alpha, beta and gamma. The instrument is based on a 170 cm² ZnS(Ag) scintillation detector. The Berthold detector has exceptionally even response over the entire area compared to similar instruments through an ingenious reflector design.
The instrument measures alpha and beta/gamma simultaneously and has calibration factors for more than 50 isotopes to determine the surface activity in Bq/cm². Calibration according to ISO 7503-1. All alarm levels are adjustable. The LB 124 has different user profiles that give access to different parameter settings. Experienced users have access to a wide range of setting options. Measurement data can be transferred to a PC with a serial interface RS232.
