STS Survey-Safe is a simulated dose rate instrument for training personnel who work with ionizing radiation. The instrument measures radio waves with a similar behavior to photon radiation, both in air but also shielded. The instrument can also be handled with gloves.
The menu is reminiscent of a dose rate instrument with settings for alarms etc.
