The GM-40/41/42 series of detectors are designed to measure gamma radiation over a very wide range.

The GM-40/41/42 detectors are encased in a rugged, splash proof housing for protection against shock, vibration and humidity. A low voltage interface connects the DPU or Monitor. Therefore each detector contains the appropriate GM tube and high voltage power supply, pulse shaper, GM saturation indicator, detector identifier and malfunction detection circuitry.
