Metron – Area monitoring system

METRON is a modern, web-based monitoring system that provides full control over radiation levels and other critical parameters in PET cyclotron facilities and GMP laboratories. The system collects data from a network of detectors and displays status, alarms and trends in a clear virtual plant map via the browser. It is optimized for area and stack monitoring, but can also be integrated with other types of meters, detectors and sensors in the plant.

A METRON system can be configured as needed and includes, among other things:

– METRON-PC
Central PC with application software and electrical cabinet that collects all signals, handles alarms, databases and reports via a web-based HMI.

– METRON-AM / AM-R / AM-RD
Gamma range monitors with integrated or external probe (single or dual Geiger-Müller detectors) for continuous dose rate monitoring in rooms, preparation rooms, cyclotron areas and threat cells.

– METRON‑N
Neutron detector for cyclotron installations, installed outside the cyclotron vault for monitoring the neutron beam field.

– METRON‑AIR
Chimney/air support system with NaI(Tl) detector, integrated MCA and flow meter for quantifying activity levels in the exhaust air and calculating released activity over time.

– METRON‑X
Monitoring system for transfer lines between cyclotron and threat cells, which detects leaks in real time and monitors the activity transport along the line.

– METRON‑TH
Interface for temperature and humidity sensors so that climate parameters can be integrated into the same monitoring platform.

– Options and accessories
External alarm stacks, extra relay outputs for connection to security systems, remote support via Ethernet, UPS to the control center and accredited calibration certificate for area monitors.
