RDS-32 is a compact survey meter using an energy compensated GM-tube as primary detector, completed with a diode in the wide range version. Probes from GMP-family and CSP-family could be connected, means RDS-32 will be able to measure almost everything from alphas to neutrons and very high gamma dose rates. The WR version (RDS-32WR) have an additional Si diode for very high doe rates.
With probe connected, the RDS-32 has a dual display simultaneously showing both internal detector as well as the probe readings. It has data logging function in XML format with a real time clock function.
The best way to use the versatility and configure the RDS-32 is via the USB interface and using the software CSW-32 (optional).
RDS-32 is compatible with the complete range of Mirion CSP probes and Mirion GMP probes
